Forestry: only for those planning to quit

Ten days left and nothing feels done? Aim for two specific points on every keyword.

Don’t try to score the highest or write the best answer in the paper. Just make sure you can write 2 specific points for any keyword in the syllabus. Even a paper completed with generic points can get you 180 to 200 marks.

  • Focus on section B of both papers.
  • Memorise the definitions of the most common keywords, like social forestry and agroforestry.
  • For policies (2B), remember just the basis of the differences, then use gradation to generate points for all three policies.
  • Make 2-line notes for every Act: WPA, FCA and the others.
  • For each technical term, make short notes with just keywords and definitions.
  • Memorise the most common species, like Neem, Jamun, Peepal and Banyan, and use them for every MPT question.
  • Read any of the toppers’ notes with these points in mind.

Don’t compare IFoS optional preparation with CSE preparation. Just don’t quit. Instead of wasting time on speculation and insider info, focus on the exam.
