    How it works

    Three steps, a few seconds.

    1. GS IGS IIGS III
      1

      Pick a paper

GS I, II, III or IV, and any of the five years. Fewer years, closer to one real paper.

    2. 2

      acads.AI draws the questions

Ten-markers fill ten-marker slots and fifteen-markers fill fifteen-marker slots. GS IV keeps its shape: six theory questions, then six case studies. No question appears twice.

    3. 3

      You get the booklet

Cover, instructions, every question at the top of its own page, the margin you must not write in, and two pages for rough work.

    Why the booklet

Practise in the space you will get.

    2 pagesfor a 10-marker

The booklet gives you two pages for 150 words. Write in it and you learn how big your handwriting really is.

    3 pagesfor a 15-marker

Three pages for 250 words. Diagrams and flowcharts have to fit too, so you plan them before you draw.

    7 minfor a 10-marker

    180 minutes for 250 marks is about 43 seconds a mark: 7 minutes for a 10-marker, 11 for a 15-marker.

    Sources

Every question, from the official papers.

The UPSC Civil Services (Main) question papers as published on upsc.gov.in. Questions are used word for word, in English.

    Questions?

    Are these real UPSC questions?

Yes. Every question is taken word for word from the English version of the UPSC CSE Mains General Studies papers of 2022 to 2026, as published on upsc.gov.in. The sources are linked on this page.

    How are the pages decided?

    Two pages for every 10 marks: 2 pages for a 10-marker, 3 for a 15-marker and 4 for a 20-mark case study.

Can a question repeat in the same paper?

No. Each question is used once per paper. Swap gives you another question of the same marks.

    How is GS IV built?

Questions 1 to 6 each come from the same question number of the years you chose, so the paper keeps the shape of a real GS IV paper. Questions 7 to 12 are six case studies.

Can I download or print the booklet?

The preview is free. For the booklet as a PDF, send us your paper code on WhatsApp or email and we will send it.
